A ruthless killer who kidnapped, tortured and murdered a fellow gangster and dumped his body in the countryside was jailed for at least 22 years at the Old Bailey today.

Kamil Dreszer, 27, of Harlesden, was part of a gang who snatched Andrzej Kulesza from his friend’s house after forcing their way in at 4am in September 2010.

The Old Bailey heard the 27-year-old was involved in drug dealing and owed money to a man called Grzegorz Misiak.

Kulesza’s remains was found dumped in a field in Northamptonshire seven months later havig possibly being strangled with a ligature.

Evidence showed he had been beaten with a metal bar, spat on and force-fed amphetamines and alcohol but Judge Timothy Pontius QC today said the exact cause of death was still uncertain.

The judge sentenced Dreszer to life imprisonment for the “horrific and brutal” murder.

“Kulesza was part of Misiak’s criminal enterprise and worked closely with him and held a position of some importance in the chain of supply,” he said.

“But his criminal activity can’t justify, still less excuse, the way in which he met his death. His life was worth as much any other human life.”

Dreszer, Artur Janik, 27, from Woking, and Daniel Kosowski, 40, from Newham, collected his body and travelled to Northants where it was dumped before they returned to London.

Dreszer was found guilty of murder, kidnapping, false imprisonment and preventing the lawful burial and disposal of a corpse.

Janik was jailed for 11 years after being convicted of manslaughter, kidnapping, false imprisonment and preventing the lawful burial and disposal of a corpse.

Kosowski received 30 months having been found guilty of preventing the lawful burial and disposal of a corpse.

Misiak was arrested and bailed in connection with Andrzej’s murder. He was extradited to Poland on suspicion of extortion, fraud and assault and died in a car crash in July 2012.
