Louise Redknapp is facing a fine of up to £1,000 and penalty points after she admitted running a red traffic light in her Range Rover.

The former Strictly Come Dancing star issued a written guilty plea to Willesden magistrates’ court last week, admitting the driving offence on the south side of Wandsworth Bridge on November 2.

The singer has requested a personal hearing in open court before she is sentenced to explain the “circumstances of the offence”, an official said.

The mother-of-two is starring on the West End stage in 9 to 5: The Musical. She may attend court to be sentenced on August 7.
