A 24-year-old man was stabbed in the neck in south London yesterday afternoon.

The man was found slumped outside a deli between Brixton and Tulse Hill after the attack at around 3pm yesterday, witnesses said.

A Met police spokesman said: "We were called to reports of a stabbing in Upper Tulse Hill at 3.06pm. Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a 24-year-old man suffering a stab wound to the neck."

The victim was taken to hospital and was not in a life-threatening condition, police said.

There have been no arrests.

A witness to the aftermath of the incident said on Twitter: "A young man stabbed in the neck, collapsed outside Le Deli Corner."

In a separate incident another man was stabbed in Bridge Road, Slade Green, last night.

The man was taken to hospital suffering with head injuries, but police said his condition is not life-threatening.

Police arrested a man at 6.30am on suspicion of GBH following the incident.
