A young man was violently assaulted and handcuffed in a terrifying raid at his home in south-east London.

His attackers forced their way into his flat before launching a vicious attack on the victim as they demanded cash and valuables.

Police said a woman and two men gained access to the block on Christchurch Way in Greenwich on February 4.

The two men then knocked on the victim's front door, and attacked him the moment he opened it.

They punched and kicked him before handcuffing him and ransacking the property.

Officers said the suspects were later seen making off from the scene with the victim’s belongings, including a designer handbag, in a red van with foreign plates.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police’s Trident gang command unit are investigating and today released CCTV stills and footage of three people they wish to trace in connection with the attack.
