Marvin Robert Melvin-Browne, of no fixed address, was arrested by detectives investigating a series of linked robberies in Stoke Newington.
He is accused of targeting 11 people in the area – including seven teenagers – between October 2016 and January 2017.
Melvin-Browne was charged on Friday with ten offences of robbery and attempted robbery.
His first suspected offence was the robbery of a 17-year-old boy between October and November on Evering Road.
He was then charged with the robbery of two schoolboys – aged 14 and 16 – on January 7 outside Rectory Road station.
On January 9 Melvin-Browne is believed to have robbed a 41-year-old man in Jenner Road.
He is accused of two robberies inside Rectory Road station on January 13 with the victims aged 14 and 17.
And on January 19 he is believed to have robbed a 17-year-old boy on Evering Road and a 34-year-old man in Hackney Downs Park.
He has also been charged with for additional counts of attempted robbery in the Stoke Newington area.
Melvin-Browne has been detained and is due to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
