A man who called himself ‘TubePerve’ has walked free after being found guilty of filming up the skirts of more than 100 women on London Tube trains.
Simon Lucy, 61, from Greenwich, south-east London, took video footage of 106 women over a 13 year period, Blackfriars Crown Court heard.
He targeted women on Tube and DLR trains, the court was told.
Lucy, of Blackheath Road, then uploaded the shots to online porn sites under the username “TubePerve”.
He chatted with other users about the films – some of which showed his victim’s faces, a jury was told.
The footage was made between November 2003 and June 2016.
Lucy was convicted of outraging public decency at the same court on February 21.
He was handed a 16-month jail term suspended for two years on Tuesday.
He was also banned from sitting next to or opposite lone women he does not know.
Lucy must also only enter a train station if he had a valid ticket to travel and is banned from owning a camera or camera phone.
Investigating officer Allan McTaggart, from the British Transport Police, said: “The Sexual Harm Prevention Order means he cannot be in possession of a device capable of capturing still or moving images or a device capable of accessing the internet unless he makes the devices available to police for inspection.
"He is not allowed to enter any railway station unless he is there to travel, with a valid ticket or pass registered to his name, and he must not sit immediately next to or opposite any lone female unknown to him.
“I hope this case shows how seriously BTP treats crimes of this nature and how we regularly review historical crimes and will bring offenders to justice no matter the timescales involved.”
