Two kilograms of cocaine and hundreds of thousands of pounds in cash were found stuffed into the furniture at an east London flat.
Investigators from the National Crime Agency made the discovery at the end of a search across London that began when a banknote-filled holdall was found in the back of a car.
The NCA identified Shwan Abubaker, 38, as the driver and searched him, discovering a key fob that eventually led them to the flat.
Abubaker, of Derby, and London man Altin Nase, 41, were this week jailed for a total of 11 years and eight months after being convicted of laundering more than £600,000.
The drugs, found dumped at the bottom of a wardrobe, were worth nearly half a million pounds while the cash found in a chest of drawers amounted to £300,500.
Nase and Abubaker pleaded guilty at Blackfriars Crown Court on Friday today. Nase was jailed for nine years and Abubaker for two years and eight months.
Matt McMillan, from Met-supported anti-drugs force the Organised Crime Partnership, said: “Both Abubaker and Nase were involved in laundering money all around the UK.
“Their brazen approach – transporting and being in possession of large quantities of cash – showed they thought they were below the radar of law enforcement.
“Officers from the OCP will continue to intercept drugs and disrupt organised criminals from accessing the proceeds of their crime.”
