The widow of a man who plunged to his death from his third-floor flat during a “terrifying” burglary spoke of her devastation as three people were jailed for their involvement.

Sheiku Adams, 48, fell from his home in Gospel Oak as his family were threatened by raiders.

The Old Bailey heard how Neil Allen, 26, jabbed a knife at Mr Adams and his wife Kerry while Jamie Cohen, 34, ransacked the flat.

After backing into the living room, Mr Adams plunged three storeys to his death on October 25.

Allen was jailed for 11-and-a-half years on Wednesday after admitting aggravated burglary.

Cohen was jailed for four years and a third accomplice, Stephanie Haughton, for two-and-a-half years after both were found guilty of burglary.

All three were cleared of manslaughter.

Mr Adams’s widow Kerry said the lives of her and her teenage daughter had been “totally ruined”.
