Police seek key witness after man dies in Croydon ambulance crash

Detectives have released an image of a key witness following a fatal ambulance collision in Croydon.

Officers rushed to the junction of Purley Way and Edgehill Road after a crash involving an ambulance and a motorcycle at 6pm on August 30, 2022.

Despite the best efforts of medical staff, David Sharp, 52, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed.

Police have released a photo of a motorcyclist believed to be close to the scene of the collision who may have vital information.
