Ed Sheeran fans have praised a comical notice board at a London Underground station aimed at thousands of people who flocked to see the star in the capital.
Lovers of the red-head descended on Greenwich’s O2 arena for the first of three consecutive shows from the Shape of You singer.
Many took to Twitter to hail a Transport for London notice board bearing a handwritten poem filled with hidden hits from the star.
The sign, addressed to “Ed Sheeran fans” read: “Even though I’m a service information board,
“Please excuse me for Thinking Out Loud;
“I really do love, the Shape of You all,
“And you seem such a wonderful crowd.
“We hope your journey was as smooth as can be,
“And you didn’t feel a single Small Bump;
“We try our best to impress, and we really must stress,

“Don’t let the Underground mice make you jump.
“The O2 Arena is just outside like a canvas Castle on the Hill;
“You have The A Team, to look after your needs,
“If you’re lost, drunk, or feeling quite ill.

“Have fun, have a laugh, share a great photograph,
“We shall see you when you come back through.”
Impressed revellers shared images of the sign, spotted at North Greenwich station, on social media – and many spotted TfL workers who had donned Ed Sheeran masks for the occasion.
Twitter user Tabi wrote: “Saw this at North Greenwich Tube station. I’m laughing. Aww, so pumped now.”
Lara Elliot said: “Nice one North Greenwich.”
While Zosia added that the board had “made her day.”
