A shop assistant was chased around a casino in fear for his safety after a man flew into a violent rage when he was asked to remove to his sunglasses.
CCTV footage of the incident at a gambling shop in East Street, Barking shows a man walking into the shop wearing sunglasses and refusing to remove them when asked by an assistant.
The 38-second clip shows the man in sunglasses punching and kicking the assistant before chasing him around the casino.
At one point during the chase, the man grabs a chair and another assistant attempts to come between the two.
The man grabbed a phone and ran off when another employee called police for help.
Officers were called to the shops following reports of a robbery at 10.20pm on Wednesday, August 26.
The suspect is described as being in his early 20s, 5ft 7ins tall and wearing a high visibility jacket.
Police say anyone with information about the man should call 101 and give reference number 188997.
