A stillborn baby was among the victims of the tragic Grenfell Tower blaze, police say.

Baby Logan Gomes was stillborn in hospital on June 14 – the day of the horrific inferno – and police said on Wednesday he has been recorded as one of those killed by the fire.

It comes as the number of victims to be formally identified rose to 41.

Eighteen names have now been released in agreement with the Coroner, Dr Fiona Wilcox.

The other 23 have not been named at the request of their families.

The families of all 41 victims have been informed, and are being supported by specially trained family liaison officers, police said.

At least 80 are believed to have been killed in the fire, which also left hundreds of people displaced.

In response to the disaster, the City of London Corporation’s charitable arm, the City Bridge Trust, is paying for excursions to Brighton, sports activities - including Eton Fives coaching sessions - and theatre workshops.
