The capital is braced for more sunshine this weekend with Saturday expected to be “the warmest day of the year.”
Maximum temperatures are expected to reach 23C today and 24C on Saturday, the Met Office said.
Friday will be a fine and dry day, with sunny spells developing across the whole of the south East and light winds.
The sunny weather will continue until Saturday, although showers are expected on Monday.
A description on the Met Office website said tomorrow “will be fine and dry with decent spells of sunshine.”

It continued: “Light winds again, with some sea breezes possible along the Kent and Sussex coast. Feeling very warm in the sunshine.”
Yesterday Londoners embraced the warm weather and flocked to the deckchairs in St James’s Park, while others supped pints in beer gardens.
The weekend's FA Cup final between Arsenal and Hull City looks set for fine weather, with temperatures in the Wembley area expected to reach 22C on Saturday afternoon.
