It’s rare that men feel pressure in the sartorial stakes but last night’s launch of London Collections: Men at St James’s Palace tested the guests’ wardrobe. Prince Charles turned out in a navy number with four buttons on the cuff, the sign of a gentleman, while comedian David Walliams dug out a three-piece suit. Others guests included rapper Tinie Tempah and Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt not hiding behind a tree. Tommy Hilfiger held a rival London Collections party at The Scotch of St James’s where Jimi Hendrix once played. Posh model Mary Charteris, pictured above, was the star of the show.
