At the Golden Globes last night Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan showed why they work so well together as co-owners of Working Title productions.

Fellner took on the speaking duties when Les Misérables, a Working Title co-production, won the award for Best Musical or Comedy. He rattled off a list of thank-yous but was interrupted by Bevan walking over to him and audibly whispering “Cameron Mackintosh”, another of the film’s producers and the man who first brought the musical to the London stage.

Mackintosh was given his due by Fellner. Not so lucky was Trevor Nunn, the show’s original West End director, who missed out on a namecheck.
