Are true bohemians a thing of the past? Yes, says Natalia Naish, co-author of Coke: The Biography, who is working on a new book, The End of Bohemia. “It used to be fairly easy to live in London on almost no money — people didn’t have to settle down and commit to a dull job,” argued Naish at last night’s Models & Mothers exhibition at The Gilbert Scott Bar in King’s Cross, attended by models Portia Freeman and Morwenna Lytton Cobbold. “People had the time to throw parties and pursue art and intellectual ideas. Rebellion was fashionable. Now there’s nothing to rebel against.”
