Twitter fury: Louise Mensch launched a tirade after tributes were paid to Saudi King Abdullah

Louise Mensch voiced her support for Dylan Farrow in today’s Times — but one small thing distracted from her passionate plea against ignoring sexual crimes. Quoting the open letter in which Farrow accuses her father Woody Allen of having abused her as child — something Allen denies — Mensch writes “what if it had been your child Scarlett Johansson?”

The actual line in the letter is addressed to Cate Blanchett, who starred in his last film, Blue Jasmine. As if Johansson hasn’t got enough to deal with.
