Theresa May was savaged in Saturday morning’s newspapers after her failed General Election gamble forced her into a minority government propped up by the DUP.

The Prime Minister lost her majority in the Commons after a shock Labour surge on Thursday, weakening her position just days before negotiations begin on Brexit.

The Conservative Party won 318 seats, eight short of a majority.
