'Next level Inbetweeners': Man snapped taking CAR DOOR on the Tube

Undaunted: The passenger stands with the green car door in the middle of the carriage

This was the bizarre moment a man casually carried a car door onto a Tube train.

Stunned passengers spotted the passenger lugging the metal car part onto a Jubilee line carriage.

He boarded the train at London Bridge and sat casually with the door in tow at about 11.30pm on Monday.

After leaning the object on the floor, he completed a short trip to Canada Water, a witness said.

Stage manager Hannah Halden, 23, snapped a photo of the incident - but said nobody confronted the passenger because he was “playing it so cool”.

She added: “I think people were too shocked to be annoyed and luckily the Tube wasn't that busy so he wasn't taking up too much space.

The sight is reminiscent of a scene in Channel 4 hit The Inbetweeners which sees a car door being ripped off Simon's Fiat Cinquecento

“He was acting so normal about the whole thing it made it seem like it happens all the time.”

Some social media users remarked it was reminiscent of an Inbetweeners episode in which Simon drives his friends to Thorpe Park in his new car - but ends up having to lug a car door around for the day.
