The family of a mother-of-three killed after a car ploughed into her and her family while they were out for a weekend walk have said she will be "missed forever".
Debbie Masters, 37, was with relatives, including her three children, when they were hit by a Volkswagen Beetle on the A2100 Upper Lake in Battle, near Hastings, East Sussex.
Mrs Masters, of Coronation Gardens, Battle, died later in hospital while the children's father suffered serious head injuries in the crash just before 2pm on Sunday.
Paying tribute, her family said in a statement: "Debbie was a loving wife and mother who was adored by her husband, and will be missed forever, no matter what."
The car came to rest after crashing into the front of a cafe window, leaving customers trapped inside.
Sussex Police said they are investigating reports the 34-year-old car driver may have been under the influence of alcohol.
A police spokesman said: "Under the provisions of the Road Traffic Act, blood samples were taken when she attended hospital and these have now been sent for analysis."
