Beyonce is being lined up to play the lead role in Bradley Cooper's directorial debut film A Star is Born, according to reports.
American Sniper actor Cooper, 40, is swapping lead roles for the director's chair after Clint Eastwood pulled out of directing the remake of A Star is Born.
Eastwood was thought to have approached Beyonce about featuring in the film when the initial remake fell apart in 2011.
It is believed that Warner Bros. - the company behind the production of the movie - are keen to bring the Drunk in Love star on board, according to Deadline.

While her career has mainly centred around her music, Beyonce made her film debut in 2001 in Carmen: A Hip Hopera, as well as starring in Austin Powers' Goldmember, Dreamgirls and Obsessed.
But she could well be appearing in two films, as it emerged that she is also wanted by director Adam Kay for a role in The Big Short, an adaption of Michael Lewis' book about the credit bubble.
Speaking about the film, Kay revealed a star-studded line-up could feature the singer.
He said: "[The film will have] an incredible cast... Christian Bale, Ryan Gosling, Steve Carell... And I think Beyonce."
