A boy aged 11 has died after being found in a garden pond

An 11-year-old boy has died after being found in a garden pond, police said.
The child, who has not been named, was discovered in the water at an address in Polesworth, North Warwickshire, at around 6.30pm on Friday.
A Warwickshire Police spokeswoman said officers were called to the scene in Ridding Gardens by West Midlands Ambulance Service.
She said: "The boy was airlifted to University Hospital Coventry, but sadly he died shortly after arriving.
"The circumstances of the incident are being investigated, but police are not treating it as suspicious.
"The coroner has been informed."
Police said the boy's family had asked to be left alone to come to terms with the incident.
