A sudden thunderstorm caused havoc in a Kent town this afternoon, sparking a flash flood which left streets underwater.
The high street in Tunbridge Wells was submerged by the deluge, forcing people to traipse through knee-deep pools of water.
Transport was bought to a halt as the flash flood caused water levels to rise on train tracks and roads.
Southeastern Railway tweeted a warning about the flash flood and said it could cause some delays to their service while staff checked the tracks.
The railway service later posted a photo of tracks fully submerged in flood water.
National rail advised customers commuting between Tunbridge and Hastings to expect a reduced train service on all lines.
Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised, it said.
Commuters were advised to leave extra time for their journey.
Delays are expected to last until 6 pm.

The dramatic downpour caused huge delays in the town centre with photos showing queues of traffic stood at a standstill.
