Jade Goody in cinema brawl - report

12 April 2012

Jade Goody has reportedly punched a grandmother in the face in a cinema brawl.

The Sun reports the Big Brother star became involved in a "wild west style" punch-up in the foyer of a North London cinema.

It says the 25-year-old went with boyfriend Jack Tweedy to see horror film Saw III on Sunday night.

Grandmother Brenda Sparks, 51, said her nose was split open in the incident, and accused Goody of hurling abuse at her.

But the Sun says the celebrity's role in the fight was unclear, with a friend of Goody's saying she stepped in after she saw a teenage girl being bullied.

A Scotland Yard spokeswoman told the Press Association: "We were called about 11.05pm on November 5 to the Lea Valley Odeon in Edmonton to reports of a disturbance.

"We attended the scene and it would appear there had been some sort of disagreement between two parties.

"One woman was suffering injuries to her face which were not believed to be serious.

"Both parties were spoken to and no allegations were made."
