This year's Halloween is set to be the warmest on record with temperatures expected to hit 21C in London.
Continuing a "remarkable year" of high temperatures, tomorrow is set to be eight degrees warmer than is normal for this time of year.
So far, 2014 is the warmest year on record, following consistently mild temperatures which have continued into autumn.
Forecaster Laura Caldwell said: "Tomorrow is expected to break the record to date for the last day of October.
"Right across England and Wales it will be warm but we think it could get up to 21C in the South East - that's about seven or eight degrees warmer than average.
"It's been fairly warm for an October in general.
"The whole year to date has been the warmest on record so far. It's been a remarkable year for above-average temperatures."
Temperatures this week have hovered just below 20C at their peak in central England.
Next week the weather will begin to cool and temperatures will return to the average of around 10 or 11C for November.
