More than 130 migrants intercepted in English Channel in one day

More than 130 migrants arrived in the UK on Friday aboard 13 boats, the Home Office has said.

The Government spokesman said Border Force continues to deal with “a number of ongoing incidents”.

A full breakdown of crossings and numbers is not yet available, their spokesman added.
