Hollyoaks hunk Ricky Whittle will go head to head with popular underdog Chris Hollins in the Strictly Come Dancing final.
The soap actor remains favourite to win the competition, with bookmaker William Hill putting his chances of success at 4/6.
This is despite his November arrest for allegedly hitting a photographer with his car in Liverpool city centre.
Whittle, who plans to take legal action over the incident, ended up in the bottom two contestants after the drama. He said: "I really think it was a coincidence. I don't think it had any effect on it at all and people are intelligent."
Whittle has been training in a jewel-encrusted pair of "lucky pants" for the big night.
The 29-year-old plans to quit Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks next year and try a career in Hollywood. He said: "I'm saying I'd like to try - and if I fail, at least I've tried. I think you need to chase your dreams and if it comes off, fantastic."
BBC sports reporter Hollins has battled through to the final despite being told that he had a "constipated" expression on his face while performing.
He said: "I've been called Jedward, I've been called the next John Sergeant. And lots of judges have obviously been critical of our performances. But honestly, I can put my hand on my heart and say I don't really care because I'm having a great time."
Host Bruce Forsyth will team up with judge Alesha Dixon to perform a spectacular duet of the Frank Sinatra standard Something's Gotta Give as the series reaches a crescendo.
The final - which is spread across two programmes - is up against a Take That concert at Wembley Stadium and the hit film Love Actually on ITV1.
