A teenager who went missing following the death of his younger brother has been found safe and well.

Adam Dugmore, who failed to arrive at school this morning, was located this evening in the Aston area of Birmingham, a spokesman for West Midlands Police said.

Officers had issued an urgent appeal for help to trace the 16-year-old, who is said to be struggling to come to terms with the death of his nine-year-old brother Aaron.

Aaron, whose family claim he was being bullied, died in hospital on February 12 this year after being found hanged at his home.

An inquest has yet to be held into the death.
