Britney Spears is poised to give her first tell-all interview since the end of her conservatorship, according to reports.

The singer, 40, is finally free after her dad Jamie Spears had control of her career, her finances and her life for 13 years under a conservatorship following her mental breakdown in 2008.

Former Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan, 56, is apparently tipped to be in the front running for landing the exclusive scoop as he launches a weeknight show on new channel talkTV.

Her interview would delve into her family fallout as well as her romance life including her two failed marriages and her blossoming relationship with her fiancé Sam Asghari.

A source told The Mirror: “She’s one of the biggest names in showbiz with a fascinating story to tell.

“Piers would love to sit down with Britney – as would his former employees ITV – so it would be a major coup for him. And he wants to start with a bang.”

The whole world could be tuning in to watch the interview as it could be broadcast in the UK as well as the US and Australia.

Last year, the songstress joked she would “set things square on Oprah”.

Media mogul Mr Morgan has publicly supported Ms Spears in her fight for freedom against the conservatorship.

He wrote in his DailyMail column: “It was stunning to hear the brutal reality from Britney’s own mouth, in her own powerful, eloquent, often rapid-fire words.

“It was like she couldn’t wait to finally have her say, and who could blame her for the obvious frustration and anger? The last time she appeared in front of Judge Penny, in 2019, Britney’s testimony was sealed.

“This time, it was made public so there could be no doubt or self-interested ‘spin’ about what she was asserting.”
