A passenger was dragged off a bus and arrested after he allegedly refused to stop eating a donor kebab during his journey.

The unnamed 57-year-old man reportedly boarded a bus in Berlin with his takeout when the driver told him eating it would be against the rules.

But he insisted on tucking into his delicious meal and attempted to hit the 51-year-old driver after he was told to leave the bus at around 6.50pm on Thursday, police say.

The bus driver, who managed to dodge out of the way, alerted police.

Officers were forced to grab the man by his upper arms and carry him away after he repeatedly refused to get off the bus.

An official complaint has been made by the driver to law enforcement for breach of the peace and bodily harm, The Local reported.
