Grape escape: Gerard Depardieu has a notoriously healthy appetite for wine

French actor Gerard Depardieu is facing legal action for allegedly punching a driver who collided with his scooter in Paris.
The driver, 63, claimed the star “exploded with rage” and launched a tirade of abuse. The man later made an official complaint to police about the Cyrano de Bergerac actor, also 63. A police spokesman said prosecutors would decide if an offence had been committed and that if convicted the sentence could be a year in jail.
