Convicted drug lord El Chapo is working on a line clothing line with his wife that will feature his name and signature.

Joaquin Guzman, 61, and his 29-year-old wife, Emma Coronel Aispuro, are working together on the project, the New York Daily News reports.

His wife, a former beauty queen, tells the newspaper that his signature would be part of the brand logo and that there is already an official website.

She said the project was inspired by their seven-year-old twin daughters.

He signed a contract from his cell in a Manhattan federal prison granting the rights to his name and signature to a limited liability company that will be led by his wife.

There are plans to launch a line of caps this summer.

El Chapo was found guilty in February of murder conspiracy charges, drug trafficking, money laundering and firearms possession.

He is currently awaiting sentencing and could spend the rest of his life in prison.
