A man in China has been dubbed the country’s “worst driver” after a video emerged of him taking 10 minutes to reverse out of a parking space.

Footage has been released of the incident - which took place in China’s eastern province of Jiangsu - in which the driver collides with a parked car at least 10 times as he attempts to reverse.

After he finally gets out of the space he speeds away, ignoring the damage he’s caused.

Police say the driver has had his licence for four years but has barely driven in that time.

A police spokesman said: "The driver got his licence before he went to university and seldom practised his driving skills over the past four years.

"He graduated this year but his driving skills are still poor and that's the reason for the accident."

The driver has been arrested for a hit and run and his licence suspended.
