Police hunt suspect with 'crime pays' tattooed on his forehead

A man with "crime pays" tattooed across his forehead is being hunted by police in Indiana.

Donald Murray, 38, is wanted in connection with a high-speed pursuit which began on Friday when a vehicle was spotted driving without headlights in the city of Terre Haute.

The chase ended when the driver of the vehicle hit a tree and fled.

A passenger in the car, caught in branches, told police he did not know the driver's name.

But officers were alerted to the driver's alleged identity because of the recognisable tattoo, which was captured in a clip showing the moments before the crash.

Police have now released a mugshot of Murray showing his face and neck covered in tattoos. He has the tattoo 'crime pays' in bold capital letters across his forehead.

Another tattoo on his cheek reads "playboy".

If caught, he faces felony charges of criminal recklessness and resisting law enforcement.

Anyone who sees him is urged to contact local police.
