Wheelchair attack: the police officer pushes the man in his shoulder
Robin de Peyer3 July 2014

This is the shocking moment a police officer pushes a disabled man out of his wheelchair and into a road.

The video was shot using a camera mounted to a dashboard in Indiana, America, and shows the officer reacting with fury after the wheelchair user apparently runs over his foot.

Lt. Tom Davidson is shown talking to 25-year-old Nicholas Kincade, who is alleged to have told employees at a nearby school that he was armed with a gun. He was reported to have been found in possession of a small knife when stopped by police.

Mr Kincade is shown falling out of his wheelchair as it falls into the road, as a crowd of five police officers look on. He was then arrested for battery against a law enforcement officer, a charge which was dropped five months later.

The footage was filmed on a camera fitted to the dashboard of a passing car in October last year.

It has been released by US police after Lt. Davidson was suspended for 30 days and put on supervisory probation for a year.
