Inquest into father and sons deaths

An inquest will resume today into the deaths of a father and his two young sons.

It is thought that Graham Anderson, 36, killed 11-year-old Jack and Bryn, three, before taking his own life.

The young brothers were found near the body of their father in a flat in Auchinleck House on Sidbury Circular Road, Tidworth, Wiltshire, in September last year.

The alarm was raised by Mr Anderson's landlady, who was due to show prospective new tenants around his flat.

At the time Wiltshire Police said the boys' deaths were being treated as suspicious but detectives were not looking for anyone else at this stage.

Last year, the children's mother, Victoria Jones, spoke of her loss and said they "meant the world to me" and would be "sorely missed" by their friends and family.

In a statement released by police, Ms Jones, from Andover, Hampshire, said: "Jack was a keen footballer and absolutely loved playing the game.

"He was a very intelligent boy. Maths and science were his favourite subjects. He was loved by everyone who met him as he was such a sociable child.

"He was caring and loving towards Bryn and was the best big brother in the world. Bryn was a cheeky chappie who doted on and looked up to his elder brother.

"He enjoyed playing in his sandpit and on his trike. He loved animals, especially cats. Jack was due to start secondary school this week while Bryn was due to start at playgroup.

"Both Jack and Bryn will be sorely missed by their family and friends. The boys meant everything to me."

The inquest will take place at Wiltshire and Swindon Coroner's Court in Salisbury and is expected to last up to three days.
