If it's a charity sporting event, you can usually expect a mish-mash of TV personalities, radio jocks and strapping sports stars haring around a football pitch. Which makes a celebrity basketball event a refreshing change. Supported by English Basketball, the Dunk'n'Funk celebrity basketball match enlisted the support of Sara Cox, among others, last year.

This year's line-up includes Dane Bowers, Dermot O'Leary, CBBC presenters Jez Edwards and Angelica Bell, DJ Spoony, the Dreem Teem's Timmi Magic and Capital's Simon 'School Boy' Phillips raising money for this year's charity, the British Performing Arts Medicine Trust. There's also the chance to shoot some hoops alongside the stars.

Dunk'n'Funk celebrity basketball match, Mon 1 Apr, Crystal Palace Indoor Arena, Leverington Road, SE19 (0870 840 1111).
