Amy Winehouse has been accused of smoking crack supplied by Johnny Blagrove and Cara Burton

A couple  accused of supplying drugs to celebrities have been charged in the wake of video footage of Amy Winehouse apparently smoking crack in her home.

Johnny Blagrove and his girlfriend Cara Burton are accused of two counts of supplying cocaine and MDMA powder earlier this year and will appear at Thames Magistrates Court, London, next month.

Video footage, which also featured Peaches Geldof, was seized from the Dalston home 34-year-old Blagrove shares with Burton, 22.

Pictures which appeared to show Winehouse smoking crack cocaine from a makeshift pipe were published in January by a newspaper which passed the footage to Scotland Yard.

She was also seen apparently snorting ecstasy and cocaine and admitting taking six Valium tablets.

In the 19-minute film she is seen smoking crack cocaine and talking about taking Valium while appearing dazed and disorientated.

The star was originally questioned under caution in February and was due to return for further interview in June.

In May, Miss Winehouse went to Limehouse police station by appointment and was arrested before being interviewed and bailed to return.

After reviewing the case the Crown Prosecution Service decided that no charges should be brought against her due to lack of evidence.

In a similar case, Peaches Geldof did not face charges even though video evidence was handed to police which appeared to show her buying drugs.

Bob Geldof 's 19-year-old daughter was allegedly seen handing a drug pusher up to £190 and declaring: "I'm going to need Valium tomorrow after this."

This is the latest in a series of incidents between Miss Winehouse and the police.

The Grammy Award winner went voluntarily to Holborn police station just ten days ago to answer charges of common assault.

She was arrested for allegedly attacking a man while on a drunken night out in Camden.

The arrest could jeopardise her chances of performing in the U.S. as the singer has already been convicted of possessing cannabis and has had difficulty obtaining a U.S. visa.

The performer has made several unsuccessful attempts to go into rehab.

Last month her father Mitch Winehouse called for his daughter to be sectioned in order to bring her drug addiction under control.

Despite her addiction Miss Winehouse has amassed a £10 million fortune through her singing and sold more than six million albums.
