Amy Winehouse was back into rehab today after she pulled out from performing at this weekend's V Festival.

The singer, who has been in and out of treatment since she collapsed last week, has returned to the Causeway clinic in Essex, having spent 24 hours away.

She has enjoyed the past two nights out in Camden pubs with her husband Blake Fielder-Civil - even pulling pints for other customers.

She returned to rehab as Fielder-Civil, 25, defended himself for the first time today against claims he was to blame for his wife's cocaine and heroin addiction.

Fielder-Civil, who also uses heroin, claimed they had only left for London "to get a guitar" before going back. He said: "Everyone thinks that everything that's happened to Amy is my fault and I'm portrayed as the bad guy.

"But I love her so, so much. She's so precious to me, she's my wife and I want to take care of her, that's why I'm taking her back to rehab.

"We only came back to London to get a guitar and then we're going straight back.

"It's not because we were too weak to stay.

"If we were going to send a message to Amy's fans we would say don't worry, she's being looked after.

"The reports about Amy and drugs aren't true to that magnitude," he added.

Sources say Winehouse's parents, Mitch and Janis Winehous, feel Fielder Civil's mother Georgette and step-father Giles are also not helping their daughter by failing to recognise the severity of her problems.

"They're fascinated by the whole showbiz thing and feel that as a celebrity, it's almost expected that she should keep up her party ways.

"Although Georgette and Giles have come down to lend some moral support to Amy and their son, they are keen to see exactly what her celebrity world entails by being a part of it themselves.

"Obviously this has caused massive tension between the two sets of inlaws, which isn't doing much to improve Amy's fragile state of mind."

Winehouse has cancelled her performance at this weekend's V Festival in Chelmsford and all her touring commitments for this month so she can recover.

She was taken to hospital last week after an alleged overdose from taking a cocktail of heroin, cocaine, ketamine and alcohol.

After crisis talks with her parents and in-laws she checked into the £10,000-a-week Causeway Centre.

Winehouse, who cancelled a concert in France, is scheduled to tour Canada and the U.S. next month before returning to Europe in October.
