Gemma Arterton and Jake Gyllenhaal enjoyed horsing around as they polished their riding skills for a new movie.

The Bond girl looked elegant in black as she rehearsed for her role as Tamina in the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.

Gemma, 22, also plays MI6 operative-Agent Fields in the forthcoming Bond movie Quantum of Solace.

Brokeback Mountain star Jake was clearly enjoying himself as he put on a swashbuckling performance on horseback.

He looked like he'd never had so much fun as he charged with his sword while practicing horseback manoeuvres

The 26-year-old plays adventurous Prince Dastan, who teams up with a rival prince to help save the world from an angry ruler threatening to unleash a sandstorm, in the film which is based on a computer game.

Meanwhile Jake's girlfriend Reese Witherspoon was enjoying a shopping trip in London.

The 31-year-old actress popped into Twenty8Twelve which is owned by her sister Savannah and Sienna Miller.

Reese has two children Ava, 8, and Deacon, 4, from her previous marriage to actor Ryan Phillippe.

The pair met on set of  movie Rendition and have now taken their romance after Reese's marriage broke up in October last year.
