Ariana Grande has shared a video of her late ex-boyfriend Mac Miller on Instagram, just days after her split from Pete Davidson.

The pop star, 25, posted a touching tribute to the late rapper on her social media account on Monday night after breaking off her engagement last week.

The video showed Miller, who died of an apparent drug over dose last month, spending time with her grandmother while they were still a couple.

Grande and Miller called time on their on/off relationship earlier this year, just a couple of months before she announced her engagement to SNL star Davidson.

Following Miller’s death in September, she wrote: “I can't believe you aren't here anymore. i really can't wrap my head around it.

“We talked about this. so many times. i'm so mad, i'm so sad i don't know what to do. you were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else. i'm so sorry i couldn't fix or take your pain away. i really wanted to.

“The kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved. i hope you're okay now. rest."

Grande and Davidson reportedly called time on their short-lived romance as she need time to “process” Miller’s death.

“Ariana hasn't given herself enough time for the grieving and healing process, and feels like her emotions are out of control,” a source told E! News.

Davidson recently broke his silence on the break-up, confirming that he was looking for somewhere else to live.

Speaking on stage on Sunday, he said: “Well, as you can tell, I don’t want to be here. There’s a lot going on.

“Anyone have any open rooms, anyone looking for a roommate?”

He told the crowd of about 300 attendees: “I’ve been covering a bunch of tattoos, that’s fun. I’m f****** 0-for-2 in the tattoo department. Yeah, I’m afraid to get my mum tattooed on me because she’d leave.”
