Azealia Banks arrested after allegedly biting female security guard at nightclub

Azealia Banks has been arrested after allegedly biting a female security guard.

The rapper was taken into custody on Wednesday night after the reported altercation at the Up & Down club in New York.

Police records confirm that the 24-year-old has been accused of assault, disorderly conduct and second degree harassment.

According to Page Six, the musician got into an altercation with the security guard while being escorted out of the club.

She allegedly punched the 28-year-old before ‘biting her breast.’

Back in September, the star made headlines when police were called to a dispute on a Delta Airlines flight.

A video, obtained by TMZ, shows the rapper launching a foul-mouthed tirade on a flight attendant following an argument with a French couple.

An eyewitness told the US website that the dispute began when a man tried to stop the rapper from squeezing past him by putting his hand out to stop her.

According to the onlooker, Banks then allegedly ‘spat in the man’s face, punched him in the face and clawed at his shirt.’

Evening Standard Online has contacted Banks’s reps for comment.
