The Girls On Top songstress, who wore an embellished leather body suit, was joined by her rapper husband Jay-Z for a duet during her 45-minute set featuring versions of Run The World (Girls), Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It), Halo and the Destiny's Child classic Survivor.
"It's time for change. Let's chime for change. This is such an incredible night for me," said the 31-year-old after being introduced by the concert's co-founders, Salma Hayek Pinault and Frida Giannini.
Jennifer Lopez, Rita Ora and Florence + The Machine, Ellie Goulding, Iggy Azalea and girl group Haim also took to the stage for the show at the Twickenham Stadium, along with John Legend, Timbaland and Duran Duran frontman Simon Le Bon.
Prince Harry opened it with a video welcome before Jessie J, wearing a black sparkly crop-top and black trousers, started the evening with Price Tag, followed by Nobody's Perfect.
Lopez - who was joined by Mary J Blige for Come Together - caused a stir in an embellished body suit with strategically placed fringing, following her risqué performance on ITV show Britain's Got Talent.
Madonna, Blake Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds, James Franco, Jessica Chastain, Freida Pinto and Zoe Saldana were presenters on the night, the aim of which was to raise funds to promote women's health, education and justice across the world. It raised £2.8 million.
