The odds are shortening on the likelihood that Prince Harry will propose to his girlfriend, Cressida Bonas, next year.
Prince Harry's burgeoning relationship with Ms Bonas has prompted punters to reach for their wallets to place their bets, leading to one bookmaker slashing its odds.
The Prince and Ms Bonas spent last weekend together shooting at Sandringham - and it is not the first time the couple have spent time away together at the Queen's home. Could it be a sign of their strengthening relationship? The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh were not at Sandringham at the time but it was still a significant event.
Bookies William Hill have shortened the odds on the Prince getting engaged in 2014 from 6/1 to 2/1 after recent bets - with money also coming in for a 2013 wedding announcement which is 3/1.
Rupert Adam, a spokesman for the firm, said: "Harry looks smitten and it will come as no great surprise if he gets engaged to Cressida and possibly before the year is out."
Harry, 29, and Ms Bonas, 24, have been seen out at a James Blunt concert and a night in London's West End watching the musical The Book Of Mormon in recent months. They have now been together for more than a year, following Harry's previous long-term romance with Chelsy Davy.
They were reportedly introduced Princess Eugenie, who is Harry's first cousin. They were also pictured together in February in the Swiss ski resort of Verbier. There was speculation that Ms Bonas was invited to the christening of Prince George but she did not in fact attend.
