Chloe Moretz has opened up about dating Brooklyn Beckham and praised his family for not touting their wealth.

Moretz, 19, is currently dating Victoria and David’s eldest son and appears to be on good terms with the famous family.

Speaking to The Edit she said: “[The Beckhams] are a great family. They don’t tout their money either.”

Moretz said dating a member of a family who is accustomed to being in the limelight is easier because they “understand the travel, the sex scenes with random people [and] the crazy schedules”.

The Kick Ass actress recently made her red carpet debut with budding photographer Brooklyn after they went public with their relationship at the premiere of Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising.

Brooklyn has clearly been given the seal of approval by Moretz’s four brothers who she said can be very over-protective.

She said: “My brothers answer the door and they’re like, ‘Yo’. All four of them. And they’re big dudes – all over six foot. It’s like, ‘You mess with [Chloë] and we will kill you.’ I love that!”

Moretz said dating as an actress can be difficult as men have already seen her in sex scenes, crying and at her worst in films.

“[Potential boyfriends] have seen you in sex scenes in movies, they know what you look like crying,” she said. “And they can read your interviews and know your favourite bands so it feels like they have all this in common with you... Happens a lot. I’ll think, ‘How are we vibing so hard right now?’ Then I realise, and I don’t care anymore, I just go back to work.”

The actress – who was home schooled – said fame has also made it difficult to build friendships and revealed she only has one close friend who she can trust.

“I’ve only got one real friend that I trust,” she said. “But I’m cool with that. She’s totally normal [and] goes to college.”
