Chris Brown has given Karrueche Tran a generous payout following their split.

The Yeah 3x hitmaker broke up with Karrueche over his friendship with former girlfriend Rihanna - who he was convicted of assaulting in 2009 and has recently been linked to again - and to avoid any bad feelings, he offered the model money so she can buy herself a house.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Neither Rihanna nor Chris want to make things harder for her than they already are.

"Chris wants to set her up financially and do right by her - he wants her to stay in his life if possible."

Meanwhile, Rihanna has reportedly reached out to her love rival and the duo recently met for a heart-to-heart.

The insider added: "Rihanna called Karrueche for a proper heart-to-heart. They needed to air a few problems.

"The girls talked for close to two hours. Rih answered all of the questions and Karrueche had a few home truths to tell her."

Rihanna's dad Ronald Fenty has given the couple his blessing despite Chris' past mistakes and insists the star deserves a second chance because he is a respectful and charismatic person that he has a lot of "love" for.

He said: "I think everyone makes mistakes and they shouldn't be held to them forever. Everyone should be forgiven once. There's a lot more to Chris than the whole world knows."

"I love Chris, man. He's got so much charisma. And he's always had so much respect for me. That's what I love about him. He's always shown me respect."

The superstar's father also praised Chris' many talents, gushing about his "super-talented" singing and dancing as well as his design skills.
