Sophie Ellis-Bextor's new single Runaway Daydreamer, from her recent album Wanderlust, will be released on March 31.
The record features 11 understated songs and is Ellis-Bextor’s fifth studio album.
It marks a new direction for the star who was an audience favourite on the last series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Co-written, produced and arranged by singer-songwriter Ed Harcourt, Wanderlust was recorded in a London studio in just two weeks with a tightly-knit group of musicians and friends.
Our critic John Aizlewood said "Ed Harcourt and Sophie Ellis-Bextor have turned in the best work of both their lives," giving it a five-star review.
Runaway Daydreamer, the second single released from the album, is an upbeat track with a gorgeous string-laden chorus.

Ellis-Bextor recently performed a sold out show at London’s Bush Hall. She returns to the Union Chapel on April 10 and 11. Tickets are available here.
