Katie Price has clapped back at Chris Hughes after he branded her a “rotten piece of s***” following a war of words over alleged Whatsapp messages.

Hughes and Price became embroiled in a public feud after she denied sending him flirty messages, before he proceeded to tweet them out. He went on to slate her on Twitter after she later revealed the messages she claimed he sent back to her, despite the fact he denied replying.

Price has now hit back at the Love Island finalist, telling Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes that he is “pathetic” and “immature”.

Speaking on This Morning she said: “This is the most stupid thing. I’ve been in this industry 20 years – it’s so tit for tat. Chris Hughes is obviously so immature when he comes to the media and he’s not media savvy.”

Confirming that she had seen the messages, Langsford said: “You showed us a lot of texts from Chris to you on your phone.”

Holmes added: “There’s a lot of texts, well somebody obviously using his name.”

Price continued: “He said he’s never replied to any of my messages. I don’t even care. He’s the one who keeps going on about it. It’s so pathetic.

“Just don’t call me a liar when I’m not. He’s getting himself into a rut and he can’t get himself out of it.”

Awkward: Chris Hughes allegedly called his girlfriend Olivia Attwood "fame hungry"

Their war of words reached new heights earlier this week when Price reportedly showed off the messages at a press launch for her book, which allegedly included him referring to his girlfriend Olivia Attwood as “fame hungry”.

In a now deleted foul-mouthed tirade he wrote: “I couldn't give a s*** who I offend anymore. I stand on my own and always will, I don't need people to get me.

“Katie Price you're a rotten piece of s***. Be a mother, by something respectful for everyone's sake. I showed your true colours, you couldn't live with it. You have 52 screenshots on Snapchat since I humiliated you? Comical.”

He continued: “I've get my whole account history from Snapchat and a media lawyer will f*** you up. No one deserves your s*** and I ain't one to take it. You f*** lives. You have MY number you can see I haven't ever sent you s***.

“You're washed up and you stink... Come on Jeremy Kyle you mug. Shaking my head the world created people like this.”

Hughes later explained that he deleted the tweets because they were “disrespectful to younger fans,” but insisted he “meant everything I said”.

Kem Cetinay, who starred on Love Island with Hughes, said he had warned his friend to not take on a “battle” with Price.
