Kate Moss pulled on a pair of paint-smeared, ripped jeans for a night out at Sir David Tang's China Tang at the Dorchester.

It's one of her favourite restaurants so she knows the way in well, but nevertheless a posse of burly minders took it upon themselves to shepherd her through the hotel, one even taking the opportunity to take her by the arm in a rather familiar way.

Moss had dressed up her jeans with a glamorous black top and cropped, fitted black jacket. And the rips in the jeans showed a hint of black fishnet tights underneath, also clearly visible at the ankle, courtesy of her turn-ups.

Her hair was tied back and her make-up understated. And you know what? She looked amazing, none the less. Getting on for 40, and as svelte and sexy as ever. Lucky hubby Jamie Hince was with her. Wonder if they're a dab hand at the chopsticks?
