Kanye West confirms plans for collaborative album with Drake

Kanye West has confirmed that he is working on a collaborative album with Drake.

The US rapper has finally revealed that he has been in the recording studio with the Canadian star after months of speculation.

Speaking to Vogue, West said : “We’re just working on a bunch of music together, having fun going into the studio. We’re working on an album, so there’s some exciting things coming up soon.

Rumours that the pair were teaming up started doing the rounds last month when a billboard featuring both Drake and West’s logos appeared in LA.

The pair have worked together a number of times in the past, with both featuring on each other’s tracks.

Drake recently co-wrote track 30 Hours for West’s most recent album The Life Of Pablo, while West both appeared on Drake track Pop Style.

West, whose Yeezy Season 4 collection launched with a rather shambolic show in New York on Wednesday night, also spoke about his desire to start a children’s line.

“I want to do 200 stores in the next year, but that’s just me saying what I want,” he said.

“I’m not saying it’ll definitely happen, but you might as well state out loud what you want, as that’ll put you one step closer to getting it.”

Despite his aspirations, the star’s Yeezy Season 4 launch didn’t go down too well thanks to a late start and models fainting on the runway.
